i don’t know

what other people

are doing

but i get up

each morning

and pray;

recite some Quran

and when my

YouTube group-listen

of Sura Ya Sin

comes on

i am usually there.

then there is

my herbal coffee

a walk,

and maybe a movie,

some jazz

or some hip hop;

and a text or two

to say

‘I am alive’

i’m living simple,

true,

hopeful,

and

with love;

and other than

a little more cash

that’s all

I can

ask.
