it my duty
to make offering
in word
and prayer…
he was my teacher
through
his music
and his search
for
The One
I listened to his music
as a young woman
exploring
her spirituality
and recovering
from the mismanagement
of her heart.
the music was healing
and the chants
of Leon Thomas
as a vocalist
were healing:
“The Creator
Has a Master Plan,
Peace and Happiness
For Every Man”
i am happy that this man
was granted
long life
spiritual exploration,
growth,
and productivity.
and I am happy
that our journeys
both
brought
us
to
(Tawheed)–
Tauhid
belief
in
the
One
God.
