in Cambridge
at that quasi hippie pad;
new
to the life,
but immersed.
that Gulf gas
station:
apartheid unchecked;
flower power, black power
and college life;
Tower of Power,
with Lenny Williams
blowing “You’re Still a Young Man”;
rebel on the run;
hiding from my mother; hurt.
entering new worlds
without interface
heedless,
but still
in Grace.
