Reappearance

the lost poems
are hidden
somewhere
on parched,
soaked,
incinerated
papers
lounging
in landfills
unheard,
forgotten
in cyberspace;
and faulty motherboards
unsaved, unshared;
but they all contain
a measure
of my
heart
and certainly
the moisture
of warm, salty tears.
and then you
reappear–
checking in–
testing the waters
that have dried
and solidified
in a form
not known
by ice
nor
by
fire.
